Good romance

Storyline lighthearted with main characters having personal struggles. Story was great until Hollie left London to go back to Oregon. Story faltered off. What kind of work did she do in Oregon? When she moved back to London, whatever happened to her parents she was supporting? I would have liked to see more character development between Hollie and the primrose and the rest of dexter’s team. Also, a few dialogue interactions between dexter and the sparkle company as the opposing company would have been great. Storyline focused too much on the inner voice of lead characters Hollie and dexter. I would have like more actual dialogue.

Review: The Mister 2: Mr. Knightsbridge

Mr. Knightsbridge by Louise Bay is the second standalone romance in her The Mister series. Focusing on the lives of Dexter Daniels, famous jeweler extraordinaire, and Hollie Lumen, an eager intern and jewelry designer, this story is emotional, sexy, sweet and awesome. Well-written and well-paced and told in dual POV, Mr. Knightsbridge is passionate and emotive and possibly my new favorite by one of my "Must Read" authors. Hollie is in London as an intern looking to get as much training under her belt as possible before her unpaid internship is up and she has to return to nowhere Oregon and her trailer park and unreliable parents and wonderful younger sister. Becoming a person of interest in Dexter Daniels life is beyond anything she ever imagined but she isn't here to date or fall in love, she has a sister to support, unreliable parents that need her and jewelry designing stuff to learn. Dexter never thought he would be as entranced by a woman as he is Hollie, partly it's her looks, partly her apparent reluctant interest, but mostly it is the way their souls speak to each other without either of them saying a word. Drawn together by her awe of his parents tiara design, kept together by their equal interest in the design competition, and held together by something so much more. I got all the feels from this story. It may be a bit cliche with the rich man swooping in to save the girl from the trailer park but Hollie didn't NEED Dexter to save her - she can save herself, what showed her strength the most was acknowledging that it doesn't make her less to let the man who loves her help her. Loved it! Enjoy!

Louise Bay has written a gem 💎 of a book! No pun intended. Her ability to tell a story and make the characters feelings, emotions, flaws, insecurities, and love believable is what draws you in. I am in love with Dexter Daniels! Dexter Daniels is a world renown Jewelry designer. He developed his passion for it due to his parents who made a name for themselves in the industry. He is intelligent tall dark and handsome. But despite all he has accomplished he thinks he is incapable of making a woman happy or having a lasting relationship. Hollie Lumen is from a small town in Oregon. She is a hardworking person who has been responsible in caring for her parents and younger sister since she was a teenager. She has sacrificed her own hopes and dreams until now being offered an internship for a jewelry company in London, England. Dexter and Hollie come from two different worlds but they have a lot in common. They both believe their past has stamped their futures and they can never change their lives. But is that really true? This is a wonderful funny heartwarming sexy love story! Don’t waist another second buy this book and fall in love with Dexter and Hollie! ❤️ 10 ⭐️

Very Disappointing

I usually like her books, but this one was boring and lacked a good plot. The story seemed disjointed and the characters lacked depth. The story seemed “thrown” together and left very little to the imagination. Definitely not a pager turner.

Louise Bay does it again! My only complaint is that it’s over! This was a really sweet story, Dexter was lovely. Hollie was sweet and their romance was effortless. I liked how her sister played a big part ( and maybe something in the future with Gabriel). It was nice to see Stella & Beck again. Love that he has these group of guys. Loved that Hollie helped him see the tough choices his brother had to deal with after his parents passing. I have all of Bay’s books and waiting for new books is painful! All are excellent! Thank you for another beautiful romance! Looking forward to the next one! xo Lydia

Great - Must Read

Yesssss, Dexter Daniels, I think I Love you! I loved the hero and the heroine. As with any Louise Bay book, you get hook from the very beginning and have to keep flipping to see what happens between these two. This is a must read, so grab it now and experience Mr. Knightsbridge.

Perfect

I’m so in love with this story. Couldn’t guess to how many times I laughed out loud. It was cute, sweet, funny, hot and just all around perfection. Cheese and all! And that ending! Oh my heart. Like I said, perfection. The character growth was especially delightful. If you haven’t one clicked this book yet, you need to make it a priority, because fondue, tiaras, British accents and thing 1.

Another stellar story by Ms. Bay! Mr. Knightsbridge takes readers to the opulent world of jewelry and jewelry making. This story takes you to the wonderful world that Ms. Bay creates within London. Every time I read her stories, it just makes me want to visit London even more! This is the story of Dexter and Hollie. A chance meeting and a whirlwind of a relationship. These two come from completely opposite worlds and upbringings but they match each other perfectly! Hollie is American, growing up too soon and taking care of her family. She finally decides to be selfish for once and goes to London. To follow her dreams, even for only a short time. I admired her strength and empathized with her need to care for her family, even at the detriment to her own happiness. Dexter is trying to carry on the family legacy. He has been fighting with unanswered questions and the drive to prove himself that he is the best. When Dexter and Hollie meet its instant, their puzzle pieces fit together like a perfect cut gem in a gorgeous setting. They become their best selves when they are together. The true meaning of a soft place to fall. Get your hands on this story, you won't be sorry!

5 Stars Mr. Knightsbridge is the latest stand-alone novel by Louise Bay. OMG you guys it was AMAZING! This story was full of witty banter, an original storyline, and characters that capture your heart. I freakin’ LOVED it! They say opposites attract and boy were they right-especially when it comes to Dexter and Hollie. These two characters grew up completely different but from the moment they meet, sparks fly. I adored Dexter from the very beginning-smart, handsome, successful, and has a heart of gold. Hollie was the perfect heroine-she was independent, has a go getter mentality, and loves without question. Together, they were exceptional. Overall, Mr. Knightsbridge was a story I couldn't put down. I enjoyed every single second of it. Highly recommend reading it!
